Mattel, Inc., along with Epic Resort Destinations, announced the creation of a second Mattel adventure park at a new entertainment destination in Bonner Springs, Kansas. According to a company press release, the ground will be broken this year for a new family-friendly theme entertainment destination that is scheduled to open in 2026.
The Mattel Adventure Park Kansas City offers many of the highly anticipated attractions from the Mattel Adventure Park Glendale in Arizona, such as Hot Wheels rollercoasters like the Hot Wheels ™ Bone Shaker (r): Ultimate Ride and Hot Wheels ™ Twin Mill Racer.
Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, a ride themed on the skull of the hot rod, is sure to thrill fans of all ages. The Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer, a double looping ride, will also provide an exciting rush.
These attractions are not only for racing fans. Many other Mattel products, like Thomas & Friends World of Sodor ™, contain five family-friendly rides and attractions as well as a play area indoors.
