Ella Mai has fueled speculation about her romance with Boston Celtics’ star Jayson Tatum after she appeared pregnant in his jersey at the NBA Finals.

Social media videos show the GRAMMY-winning artist walking through the bowels at TD Garden after the Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks 106-88 in Game 5 of NBA Finals on Monday night to win their 18th NBA championship, the most for any franchise.

In the clip Mai waves to a player as she walks down the hall. The video appears to cut off just as they’re about hugging, but you can still see the singer of “Boo’d Up”, who turns around and reveals what looks like her growing stomach. Mai can also be seen in the video wearing Tatum’s number. 0 home Celtics jersey.

Another video is also making its rounds on social media, and it offers a closer look at Mai wearing Tatum’s jersey again at an after party. You can clearly see that Mai looks pregnant.

We have reached out Mai’s representative for comment.

Since a while, there have been rumors that Mai and Celtics’ 6’8″ power forward are in a relationship. However, neither has said a word.

we interviewed Mai in February 2023 and she was very coy about relationships, platonic or not. She’s also willing to share via her music. For example, in 2022, she sings about finding love with the lyrics “Hard To Explain / The Type of Ways I Feel, You Stuck on My Brain” and “You Give Me Feelings / So Many Feelings / What A Surprise / Who Knew I’d Ever Find / So Many feelings / Some i can’t Mention / Who Knew I’d Find a Place to Hide?” She sings, “Don’t have to tell everyone about you/I already believe I found the one.”

She explained why she is so private. “It’s super important to be me, and I think that as artists… we already share a lot about ourselves in our music,” she said. Even though it’s super fun to sit down with you and talk to you, I think there is always a part of me that wants something to remain private. I think that relationships, whether they are romantic, family or friends, can be difficult to maintain without everyone knowing what you’re doing.
