One of the most significant surprises in the universe of Star Wars that fans received in the past year is the release of the film the Mandalorian and Grogu that was written by Jon Favreau. With the majority of Star Wars fans anticipating the announcement of Season four of The Mandalorian and Grogu, we’ve been wondering about what the smaller-screen development for Din Djarin would be, and with the director Dave Filoni recently being asked about the future of the show and putting an unpredictably vague response to the question. But he did mention that he seemed equally excited to discover what Jon Favreau is doing as a director on the Star Wars feature film as fans are.

“There’s so much spinning in the galaxy right now. You know me better than to commit to any one thing, no mind trick works on me,” Filoni told when she was asked about Season 4. the show The Mandalorian. “I’m excited about what we’re doing right now, but the movie, I think, is gonna be great. With Jon at the helm, it’s gonna be fantastic, and he’s so well-studied in Star Wars now, so he’s got a great shorthand and I love collaborating with him. Just excited to share the future of what we’re doing.”

The third season of the show The Mandaloriandebuted in the year before and concluded in Din Djarin and Grogu appearing to have put their lives of bounty hunt behind them, even though the show’s popularity gave the impression that it was not over yet. While fans waited to hear the announcement for Season 4, viewers instead got to know about The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Lucasfilm, Disney, and associated filmmakers have remained silent about how the film would affect the story of The Mandalorian The Mandalorian, leaving some fans asking if we’ll receive a film instead of Season 4. The reality is, reports claim that fans are currently anticipating both an upcoming movie and a Season 4. Furthermore, Filoni himself is slated to direct a film that would serve as a crossover in The New Republic and would blend elements of the MandalorianStar Wars: Ahsoka, and Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett.

“I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created,” Favreau stated in a statement, when The Mandalorian and Groguwas released. “The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting.”
