Lucifer had a stellar cast, including a Marvel superstar for its final season. In 2021 Brianna Ildebrand joined the Netflix show’s sixth season in the role of troublesome angel Rory who hoped to follow Lucifer. Later, it was revealed that she is the Nephilim child of Lucifer Decker and Chloe Decker. She resented her father for abandoning them before she was even born, and not showing up when Chloe Decker was dying in 2060. She was sent to 2020 with the intention of killing her dad, but soon found the closure she needed and returned back to her timeline.
Hildebrand played Negasonic Teenage Warhead before becoming a Nephilim in Deadpool. Ellie Phimister is a fan favorite mutant who can produce atomic blasts with her body. She made her debut in New X-Men#115, in 2001. Negasonic Teenage Warhead was created by Grant Morrison & Frank Quitely. She has a number of abilities including superhuman speed and strength, matter & energy manipulation, precognition telekinesis telepathy and flight.
Hildebrand appeared in both Deadpool movies, and will also appear in the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine film that is set to release in theaters in a month. The title of the film is a hint that it will be a chaotic mix-up between Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds’ beloved characters. This is the first Deadpool film to be released in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Disney acquired Fox. It’s impossible to predict what will happen and how Negasonic Teenage Warhead may come into play.
Brianna Hildebrand has a number of other credits, including The Time Capsule , Trinkets Playing with Fire Tragedy Girl and Anne Undocumented. Hildebrand was surprised to learn that the first Deadpoolmovie marked her third and first major role. According to her IMDb she has three more projects that will be released on July 26, aside from Deadpool & Wolverine. She will be appearing in the movies Osiris: Fog of War and Persephone.
Hildebrand is a versatile actress who keeps herself busy with both film and television. Hildebrand is expected to return in the future for a new film, or possibly a series on Disney+. This may depend on the outcome of Deadpool. You never know with the MCU.
