If you’ve ever sat at the McDonald’s dining establishment and you wished that you could get an amazing Krispy Kreme doughnuts alongside the McCafe caramel macchiato you’re about to see your wish be fulfilled.
Two companies recently announced they will launch an all-over campaign to offer Krispy Kreme doughnuts in McDonald’s stores until 2026, according to CBS News. Krispy Kreme will provide three of its “most popular doughnuts…delivered fresh to McDonald’s restaurants every day,” a press release from the company. “They’ll be sold in single pieces, as well as in six-packs beginning with breakfast and running through the day, so long as stocks last.
- The famous original Glazed(r) Doughnut: A delicious doughnut that melts in your mouth, dipped with Krispy Kreme’s famous glaze. The doughnut that launched everything.
- The Chocolate Iced and Sprinkles Doughnut : A chocolatey twist on the classic, coated in chocolate icing before being decorated with rainbow sprinkles.
- A Chocolate-Iced Kreme(tm) filled Doughnut : made from an airy, fluffy dough that is filled with a creamy Kreme(tm) filling, then dusted with chocolate-colored icing.
“Since the launch of breakfast nearly 50 years ago, we’ve continued to offer new menu items, flavors and experiences that have made McDonald’s an irreplaceable part of fans’ morning routines,” said Tariq Hassan, McDonald’s USA’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer. “This partnership is an exciting next step in that journey and a chance to unlock new business opportunities in the breakfast category and throughout the day. Our fans’ love for Krispy Kreme runs deep, and we can’t wait to make it even easier for them to satisfy their sweet tooth at McDonald’s restaurants across the country.”
