Swift’s lead guitarist and singer Paul Sidoti welcomed his second baby as The Eras Tour takes a two-month break.

With The Eras Tour taking a break until May and the concert film now available on Disney+, one of Taylor Swift’s bandmates is celebrating some exciting news. Paul Sidoti, her longtime lead guitarist, recently announced on Instagram the arrival of his “little miracle,” Sammy Sidoti, with his wife. “Our prayers were answered, and mommy and baby are doing great,” he joyfully shared, adding that big sister Scarlett is thrilled to have a baby brother. Sidoti expressed his love and gratitude towards his wife, Ashley Sidoti.

Accompanying his announcement was an adorable photo of baby Sammy, along with birth details indicating he was born in the morning on Mar. 12. Fans flooded the comments section with congratulations, noting how Sammy waited until the Eras Tour went on hiatus. Swift’s recent performances were in Singapore earlier this month, concluding another leg on Mar. 4. The tour is set to resume in Paris in May, making it an opportune time for Sidoti’s newest addition to the family.

The Sidotis marked their 12th anniversary last summer, with Paul sharing a heartfelt message for his wife. “Happy 12 year anniversary to this incredible woman I have the honor of calling my wife,” he wrote, reminiscing about their journey together. Paul has been part of Taylor Swift’s team as a lead guitarist and vocalist since December 2007.

Although rehearsals for the tour are expected to resume in mid-late April, there’s no indication yet whether Sidoti will be absent from the initial dates to spend time with his family. However, the timing of Sammy’s arrival coinciding with the tour break seems serendipitous. Congratulations poured in for the Sidotis on their “little miracle.”
