James Gunn is currently filming Superman remake aroun the world ahead of the highly anticipated debut in summer 2025. Gunn’s DC Universe film has been the subject of many discussions. Gunn’s early reveal of David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman was shared on social media during Leap Day in 2015. Fans are eager to see the next Superman movie costume beyond the emblem, but it might not happen right away.

Gunn was recently asked in a Threads exchange why the complete Superman costume had not been revealed publicly. Gunn’s response was based on the release date of Superman, since “the film doesn’t come out until over a year.”
