Bells for wedding ceremonies are going off out for Jersey Shore‘s Sammi Sweetheart Giancola. The MTV star 37-year-old revealed in an ecstatic Instagram update on Monday that her longtime partner, Justin May, proposed on the 16th of March.

“Life update: Fiance 3.16.24 The easiest question I’ve ever answered. happiest & luckiest girl in the world. I’ll love you forever, and then some,” Giancola captioned a number of photos, including photos of her displaying her ring, which is a round-cut engagement ring that is set in an 18-karat gold band created by Cozzi Jewelers, a Pennsylvania-based company. Cozzi Jewelers, as per her blog post. It was reported that the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star also wrote at the bottom of her April 1st post “not an April fools joke,” along with the hashtags “future wifey” and “engaged.”

On his personal Instagram account May, the girl Giancola has been with from 2021 on, posted “She was adamant! I can’t wait to marry my most beloved friend! We love you dearly. I can’t wait to spend my entire existence together!”

The news of the exciting wedding sparked many responses by Giancola’s MTV co-stars. Angelina Pivarnick wrote, “@sammisweetheart congrats mama to you and @j_may36 #wedding,” with Jenni “JWoww” Farley adding, “Congratulations.” Farley’s fiancé Zack Clayton Carpinello, also wrote, “Congratulations. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino jumped into the comments section and wrote “Congratulations! Love Love,” and Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio replied, “Ayeeeee congrats.”

Giancola is most well-known for her role as one of eight roommates in TV’s Jersey Shore. She and May began to develop a romance just within a couple of months after Giancola and her ex-boyfriend, Christian Biscardi, ended their relationship and engagement after a two-year span. They came out about the relationship back at the end of the month of November in 2021 when the MTV star posted a Thanksgiving photo of them. In a subsequent interview with us in August 2023, Giancola revealed that May was a fan of Jersey Shore, sharing, “He was actually working at Karma, the club. Karma in the time we were drinking in 2009. It was weird that the guy was part of my life before when I was in my early times.” Giancola also said that she “found an individual who’s extremely loving and supportive of the things I do, and is just loving of me, and whom I adore.”
