Shiloh Pitt is serious about dropping , her father’s surname.18-year old Shiloh Pitt, daughter of Pitt Angelina Jolie took out a public advertisement confirming her impending change in name. This is standard legal procedures before a name change can be approved by a judge.

According to ,, the newspaper advertisement states that Shiloh plans to change her last name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. The ad also states that anyone who wants to contest the name change can appear in court at the end of this month. The name change will proceed as planned if no one objects.

Shilo Pitt was reported to have completed the legal paperwork in May of this year, when she turned 18, and had dropped Pitt from her name.

In Touch reported that while Pitt may have been offended by the move, Shiloh had a good relationship with Pitt and was “not trying to hurt his feelings” in maintaining a close bond with her mother. The source said that Shiloh has sympathy for Pitt’s separation from her siblings, but she is doing what she feels comfortable with.

Pitt’s relationship with his kids has been complicated for years. This is a result of allegations that Jolie made against him. Shiloh’s two sisters Zahara & Vivienne also dropped the “Pitt”.
