Fortnite isgetting the chance to be a Lego collaboration with Lego in the near future and, due to a fresh update that was gleaned from the game’s data files and we now have a clear picture of what the situation is with this crossover and when it will be released. Epic Games is evidently currently testing something that is related to the collab, with the results suggesting that the crossover may be available in Season 4. Chapter 4 Season 4. This puts the Lego collab in a different place from the present and the news that was released this week confirms that the collab is being worked on.
The Twitter account of GMatrixGames posted this week on his account FNCentralBot twitter account “New unique version dev.junostable has been added to testing servers.” If this isn’t much to you the other Fortniteinsider ShiinaBR dissected the issue further, saying that this was a reference to Lego’s Lego collab.
Epic Games said last year that it as well as The Lego Group had entered an agreement in order to “shape the future of the metaverse” through new, digital experiences. This was announced in April 2022, with nothing more information on the subject in the years since however we do are aware that the plans are in progress.
“The LEGO Group and Epic Games today announced they are entering a long-term partnership to shape the future of the metaverse to make it safe and fun for children and families,” Epic Games said previously. “The both companies are set to work together to create a unique innovative, inspiring and fun digital experience for children of all ages, to enjoy together.
“The family-friendly digital experience will give kids access to tools that will empower them to become confident creators and deliver amazing play opportunities in a safe and positive space.”
While the company is aimed at children and families, Lego sets are of course not restricted to those populations, and considering the broad nature of Fortnite’scurrent artistic scene, it is logical that this partnership should offer something to everyone who is at all interested in Lego as well.
The release date of the collab has been set in spite of speculation over the time it could be released.
