Ingrid Andress’ Anthem Mishap Stuns Home Run Derby Audience”

TWITTER ERUPTED after a less-than-ideal rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner”, by Ingrid Andress. The Grammy-nominated singer performed the National Anthem at Arlington’s Globe Life Field on Monday. She received criticism online for her performance.

Andress, an experienced performer that has previously opened for major artists like Stevie Nicks or Keith Urban, was caught missing several notes while performing the national anthem. Fans compared Andress’ performance to Fergie’s flub during the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

The anthem that was played by Ingrid Andress is a viral video. One post referred to her rendition as “Sung by Ingrid Andress”.

“My ears are bleeding.” “One of the worst renditions of the national anthem ever,”

Andress’s flop performance came just hours after she announced that “Colorado 9″, her new single, will be released on July 24. This is nearly a full year after the release of her second album Good person in August last year. She will perform in Nashville on July 24, and Denver on July 23.

Andress, a prolific songwriter who has written tracks such as LANY’s I Didn’t Lie, Charli XCX “Boys”, and Fletcher “I Think I am Growing”, is one of the most promising women in country music. In 2021, her first album, Lady Like earned three Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist, Best Country Song, and Best Country Duo/Group performance for “Wishful Drinking”. She was also nominated for Best Country Duo/Group performance for “Wishful Drinking”, with Sam Hunt, in 2023.

“I am more comfortable with being vulnerable and authentic.” She told Rolling Stone that she found power in being vulnerable and honest. “I think being in love has made me realize there’s a lot power in female energy.”
