Exclusive: Inside the Chaos That Derailed Megan Thee Stallion’s Concerts!

Since the first show, Megan Thee Stallion’s tour has become a social media trend. Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion has sold out arenas, impressing concertgoers with the well-curated stage show, costumes and choreography. Fans in Atlanta were shocked to hear that her Atlanta shows would be cancelled, but it wasn’t the rapper’s fault.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution,the concert was among many Atlanta events that were canceled because of major repairs for water services in downtown Atlanta due to a broken water main. Meg was scheduled to perform at the State Farm Arena. Reps posted a social media statement in which they informed fans that the Megan Thee Stallion show on Saturday, 1st June is still scheduled. State Farm Arena and Live Nation have been in contact with the City of Atlanta’s Department of Watershed Management. We will inform fans of any changes to the performances for this weekend. “We encourage patrons to check out State Farm Arena’s Facebook page for the latest information.”

Meg updated fans via Instagram Live on Saturday from the State Farm Arena. “Call Mayor!” “All day long, they have been telling us that we can perform”, she said.

In the video she said that her team is researching other venues in metro Atlanta, where she might be able perform.

The concert was subsequently postponed until Sunday, 2nd June. When water will be restored in the entire city is still unknown. Meg’s event, which lasted two nights, was sold out. Local celebrities were expected to attend. She captioned the post ATLANTA HOOTS! on her Instagram account before the show. !! “Thank you for sticking with me through this. I love you all.”
