Superman Storyboard

“Breaking: James Gunn Drops Jaw-Dropping Superman Storyboard Bombshell – Details Here!”

James Gunn has always been consistent in his approach to filmmaking. He puts great care into every movie he makes. He has been known for storyboarding every frame of each movie he makes, or Superman. Gunn posted a picture of four boxes containing his storyboards. The first film is part of the DC Universe.

“This is Superman.” Gunn posted on his Threads page, “Boxes of my photos on hand-drawn index cards.”

Gunn said that he used his storyboards to create his film bible. This allowed all those involved in the production to be on the same page before filming began.

The director said, “This book of descriptors and drawings becomes my film Bible. It is more important than the script.” For me, writing a screenplay is just me describing what I see visually. This is closer to how I see the story. The film itself is even more close.

He concluded: “Every shot of my films is drawn by hand first. This is at least 2,500 or so shots per one of my films. About 1/3 of my shows take 2-10 cards, or even more because I draw the movement. So, I end up with 3,000 cards.

Superman Legacytells Superman’s story as he struggles to reconcile the Kryptonian roots of his Kryptonian upbringing with his human upbringing in Smallville, Kansas. “He is the embodiment for truth, justice, and the American Way, guided by kindness in a society that views kindness as outdated.” Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Edi Gthegi, Anthony Carrigan, Metamorpho and Maria Gabriela de Faria are all part of the cast.

The DC Universe will officially begin with Creature commandos. A release date has not yet been set, but Superman Legacy is scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
